Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Aurora Cloud Business Manager (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Service is operated by Aurora Cloud LLC ("we", "us").
2. Your account
You're responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Keep your password and Cognito login credentials safe. Notify us at the email below if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business use.
3. Subscription & billing
The Service is offered on a monthly subscription. New accounts get a 21-day free trial; no card is required to start. After the trial, you must add a payment method to continue creating new customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, and payments. Billing is handled by Stripe; we don't store your card number.
You can cancel any time from the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't issue partial-month refunds. After cancellation, you retain read access to your data for 30 days so you can export it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to send unsolicited email, harass other parties, host illegal content, attempt to compromise the Service or other tenants, or violate any applicable law. We may suspend your account for material violations.
The Service's email features (invoice send, booking confirmations) may only be used to send 1:1 transactional email to recipients who provided you their address in the course of business. We don't permit marketing email, newsletters, or list sending.
5. Your data
You own the content you put into the Service — your customer list, your invoices, your photos. We host it for you, isolated per-tenant via database row-level security. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with third parties except service providers strictly needed to operate the Service (AWS for hosting, Stripe for billing, Resend for email).
You can export your data at any time by request. On account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for lost revenue, lost data, or other consequential damages, except as required by law. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
